Meow, I'm sick of seeing people say this.
"I liked him/her/them like how he/she/they was/were before"
"He/She/They was/were much better"
"Why is/are he/she/they becoming so mainstream?"
...
......
.........
............
Want to know why?
It's society.
Who thinks being a celebrity is all about glamour?
...
Joke.
Who thinks being a celebrity and getting famous is awesome?
...
Joke as well.
Let me tell you people out there:
Being a celebrity is harder than you think.
You become an ITEM.
You become a SELLING PRODUCT.
You become a COMMERCIAL OBJECT.
You don't work according to your own ways.
You don't get to do what you want to.
Society chooses for you.
You just have to accept.
Then stress accumulates.
How you choose to handle it, it's really how much stress management they have.
And if you take a route society deems as bad --
More stress builds, again.
It's sort of like a never-ending cycle.
And, about mainstream.
Ever knew that the entertainment industry specializes in making profits?
They want more; they go for more.
They tell the celebrity what they want, what the world wants from them.
They don't have much of a choice.
...
I'm sorry, but it's really how it works.
So those who think becoming famous is that easy
Why don't you think again about whether you're ready for it all?
