Every mountain has its summit. After reaching the top,you can't climb higher. The same goes for us.All children have their own limits, and when they reach them it's not possible to go any further, unless they slowly build a staircase to greater access.
But even so,that staircase is sometimes abandoned halfway. Many people lose their will before reaching the very top.
Why do I say that? Many people just don't have the talent for that certain thing,or are being pushed too much they stress out. Most of the time, the two come in a package.
Parents have to learn their lessons;they cannot simply expect that their children will ace subjects as well as them -- they need to face reality and realize their child's true potential...who knows? He or she might be better in another subject.
The child may be a slow learner,so don't try to hasten things too much. When receiving their results, don't try to throw a tantrum about the marks, acknowledge the child's hard work and know that he or she has already put in all his or her effort to finish the paper.
Screaming continuously at children;calling them failures, only lowers the morale of a child. No one likes to be discouraged by their own parents.
As a result, the child gives up in his or her studies. He or she stops building the staircase to the top.
Only then will parents wonder: Why is he/she giving up?Most parents never realize that the problem derived from themselves, and continue to repeat the same mistake.
I ask you again, parents throughout the world. Why bother scolding and swearing to them when you brought their downfall?
Give them time;be more open minded.Only then will you see their true progress in life.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm sorry for the philosiphical-type post again.
